Policies & Waiver
The Pilates Nook enforces a strict 24-hour cancellation policy for all private sessions and classes. Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to the start of the appointment, or the appointment will be charged in full.
There are no refunds or exchanges on any purchases.
No client will be admitted 5 minutes after class start time.
All clients must disclose any injury or condition that may prevent you from safely participating in any class or session. It is your responsibility to inform the studio so that we can recommend appropriate sessions and make appropriate modifications.
The Pilates Nook is understanding of emergencies, but, the absence of emergency, strongly suggests that during all classes, clients unplug and kindly leave your phone with your belongings.
Liability Waiver and Release
In consideration for being permitted to use the facilities and equipment located at The Pilates Nook, 441 East 12th Street, New York, NY 10009, I do hereby waive, release and forever discharge The Pilates Nook, its owners, employees, and agents from any and all claims, demands, damages, rights of action, or causes of actions, present or future, known or unknown, anticipated or unanticipated, resulting or arising out of my or a member’s use of the facilities and equipment of The Pilates Nook. I specifically agree that The Pilates Nook shall not be liable for any damages arising from any personal injuries sustained by or myself any guest or member on or about the premises of The Pilates Nook. In attending The Pilates Nook, I agree that I do so at my own risk. I understand and am aware that exercise is a potentially hazardous activity. I also understand that fitness activities involve risk of injury and even death, and I am voluntarily participating in these activities and using equipment and machinery with knowledge of the dangers involved. I will take responsibility for my health and safety and avoid any exercises I have been advised by my physician not to do. The Pilates Nook shall not be liable for the loss or theft of, or damage to, the personal property of a guest or member.
